Walls
the wall has been built
hence await for visitors-
we stand by the gate
Maybe that wall is also the wall about which Khalil Gibran says the following:
[...] "After all this is not a bad prison; but I do not like this wall between my cell and the next prisoner’s cell; Yet I assure you that I do not wish to reproach the warder not the Builder of the prison".[...]
[...] "Sadness is but a wall between two gardens". [...]

**I don't like to give explanation or add too much in hopes the haiku speaks for itself. I would like to add. I think walls people build (or are helped built for them) are individual; as the door they have to that wall.**

Exactly. I think most do. I hope they do. :)

I think people have walls but want people to come to the door. But fear keeps the wall up. I think men maybe even more then women... but both do. It is my opinion and observation.
DeletePatience in waiting before the gate ... yes indeed a sign of hope, but why built a wall ...
ReplyDeleteGood question. But I think each probably has their own reason. Some walls stronger then others. Some thin or no walls. Metaphorically.
Deletestanding by the gate
ReplyDeleteawaiting a visitor
to share red roses
Exactly. Good one. Very nice. : )
DeleteThere is a longing in your haiku that I find a little sad.. hope you have visitors soon
ReplyDeleteDepends on the visitor. LOL : )
