Tanka Poem: Connected

Love Locks
Cologne Germany

Connected

familiarly eerie
upon the first encounter
our approach guarded
translucent light of my life
now your treasured memories

Used words:  eerie, guarded, translucent, for "3 Word Wednesday"

The Bridge is covered with these Love Locks.

Drive

cold winds resistance
a bitter opposition-
yet we must drive forth

Haiku - Trust

Tree Blossom from this last Spring.

Trust

from tall tree petals

Spring snow each in place grounded-

with soft acceptance

This is from some Cemetery Photography I did
when I lived back in the States.
These are old tombstones under a Tree
with petals from that tree.

The Minute Poem: Simple Things

The Minute Poem:
Simple Things

Memories of crisp cool air
Now you are there
Autumn blooms
How the past looms

Forest visitors came to call
Feed time for all
Return each day
With names to say

At the time it seemed rather stale
Now just a tale
It is yet gone
But still lives on.

Haiku - autumn harvest blooms

autumn harvest blooms
now how i long for those days
woodlands call me back
